SUNDAY, OCTOBER 18 @ 3:00 PM CST

Part conversation, part slow-looking practice, part shared experience, One Hour One Artwork is an invitation to slow down and spend meaningful time with a single work of art. We’ll look closely, ask questions, notice details, share observations, and allow the artwork to reveal itself gradually. We’ll also respond to the work creatively, using writing, drawing, or other simple prompts to explore what it evokes in us. There’s no need to arrive with an art history or creative background, and no expectation that you already know how to “read” art.  Just bring your curiosity and an open mind.
